Overview

Neurological physiotherapy focuses on the treatment of individuals with neurological conditions, affecting the functioning of the brain, spinal cord, and nerves. Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy, Spinal cord injury and Parkinson’s are common neurological conditions. The goal of treatment is to provide interventions which assist an individual to regain or maintain their maximum movement and functional independence. This is achieved in aiding in the development of new pathways through repetition and exercise.
