Overview

Pelvic Health physiotherapy is used to assess and treat conditions resulting in the dysfunction of the pelvic floor muscles for both males and females. Some of the pelvic floor disorders that are treated with pelvic health physiotherapy include: urinary/fecal incontinence, urinary urgency, pelvic organ prolapse, constipation, painful intercourse, erectile dysfunction, pelvic pain, low back/hip pain, diastasis recti as well as Women’s Health prenatal and postpartum care.

Pelvic Health physiotherapy treatments may include education, manual therapy, and exercise prescription.
